Egypt Trip Itinerary - Sedra Travel

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

 

• Sedra Travel representative meets you at Cairo International Airport.

• Transfer to hotel in an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle.

• Smooth check-in assistance and itinerary review.

• Overnight stay at Cairo hotel.

 

Day 2: Giza and Sakkara Highlights

 

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

• Visit the Giza Plateau:

• Explore the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

• See the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

• Lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant.

• Explore the Sakkara Complex and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built.

• Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 3: Cairo Museums

 

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (limited access areas include Main Galleries, Grand Hall, and gardens).

• Lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant.

• Tour the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to admire ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures.

• Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 4: Luxor and Nile Cruise

 

• Early morning transfer to Cairo International Airport for a flight to Luxor.

• Meet and transfer to your luxury Nile cruise, Salacia.

• Lunch on board.

• Visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor.

• Dinner and overnight stay aboard the cruise in Luxor.

 

Day 5: Luxor West Bank

 

• Breakfast on the cruise.

• Explore Luxor’s West Bank:

• Visit the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of 62 Pharaohs.

• Tour the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari.

• Marvel at the Colossi of Memnon statues.

• Lunch on board while sailing to Edfu.

• Relax and enjoy cruise facilities: afternoon tea, massages, and Jacuzzi.

• Dinner and overnight aboard the cruise in Edfu.

 

Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo

 

• Breakfast on board.

• Visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman temples.

• Horse-drawn carriage ride to and from the temple, passing lush landscapes and local villages.

• Return to the cruise and sail to Kom Ombo.

• Explore Kom Ombo Temple, unique with its twin entrances and sanctuaries.

• Lunch on board while sailing to Aswan.

• Dinner and overnight aboard the cruise in Aswan.

 

Day 7: Exploring Aswan

 

• Breakfast on board.

• Visit the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s ancient stone quarries.

• Tour the stunning Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis and Hathor.

• Dinner and overnight aboard the cruise in Aswan.

 

Day 8: Transfer to Hurghada

 

• Early breakfast on board.

• Disembark the cruise and transfer to Hurghada.

• Check in at a beach hotel in Hurghada and relax.

 

Day 9: Free Day in Hurghada

 

• Relax at the beach or join an optional excursion arranged by Sedra Travel.

 

Day 10: Another Free Day in Hurghada

 

• Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or explore the local area.

 

Day 11: Departure

 

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Hurghada Airport for a flight back to Cairo.

• Final departure from Cairo International Airport.
