Terms and Conditions for Sedra Travel, Inc.
The following constitutes a contractual agreement between Sedra Travel, Inc., hereinafter referred to as “Sedra Travel” or “us,” and the purchaser of any of our Umrah or Hajj programs, hereinafter referred to as “Customer.” Acceptance of this agreement can be accomplished through written signature on the contract or through performance, which is payment of a deposit for one of our Umrah or Hajj packages. By purchasing a package or signing these terms and conditions, the customer agrees to the following:
1. Reservation / Deposits / Fees
1. Sedra Travel accepts payments via checks, money orders, bank transfers, and cash. Payment is not deemed made until it is received by Sedra Travel and confirmed cleared by our bank.
2. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit is cleared and a written booking confirmation is issued to the customer by Sedra Travel.
3. Customers are responsible for reviewing and verifying their booking details immediately upon receiving the invoice. Any discrepancies or errors must be reported to Sedra Travel promptly. Changes may not be possible at a later stage.
4. The customer is responsible for ensuring that they meet all visa requirements. Sedra Travel will not be held responsible for denied visa applications or delayed processing by the consulate.
2. Service Warranty
1. Sedra Travel acts as an agent for vendors, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transportation companies, and consulate offices. Sedra Travel is not responsible for claims arising from vendor performance.
3. Insurance
1. Sedra Travel strongly advises customers to purchase travel insurance to safeguard against unforeseen issues, including but not limited to:
• Medical emergencies
• Lost luggage or personal items
• Last-minute cancellations
• Flight delays or interruptions
2. Sedra Travel is not responsible for any financial losses or personal inconveniences due to circumstances that could be covered by travel insurance.
4. Lost Luggage and Personal Belongings
1. Sedra Travel is not responsible for stolen or lost personal belongings during the customer’s journey.
2. Sedra Travel will not be liable for lost luggage during air travel or transit from the airport to the hotel. Customers are advised to purchase travel insurance to cover such incidents.
5. Safety and Health
1. Customers understand that tour packages involve inherent risks, particularly when traveling to developing regions or during physically demanding activities such as Hajj rituals.
2. Sedra Travel is not liable for any injuries, health issues, or accidents resulting from negligence of vendors, political unrest, or natural disasters.
3. Customers are encouraged to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions prior to booking. While Sedra Travel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate customers, it cannot guarantee assistance for all medical conditions.
4. Customers must ensure they are physically fit to participate in all aspects of the journey. If assistance is required, customers are responsible for arranging a companion to aid them.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
1. Refunds are subject to the terms specified at the time of booking and may vary based on the package.
2. Sedra Travel reserves the right to deduct processing fees and other non-refundable costs from any eligible refunds.
7. Governing Law
1. This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and follows the principles of the local choice of law.
2. Customers agree to resolve disputes through neutral-party mediation followed by arbitration if necessary. Customers waive the right to punitive damages.
8. General Information
1. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Sedra Travel and the customer and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
2. Sedra Travel reserves the right to update these terms and conditions periodically. Customers are advised to check for updates before their departure.
3. If any part of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in full effect.
By signing or purchasing any of our travel packages, the customer agrees to all the terms and conditions stated herein. Sedra Travel aims to ensure a spiritually enriching and seamless travel experience while adhering to these policies.
